Amid the quiet rustling of the pine forests surrounding Lopen Wilderness Villa, tired guests can recharge and those full of ideas can find new inspiration. The terrace, nestled in a woodland garden, offers cool shade, while the long farmhouse table in the Kota Villa provides plenty of room for a larger family or a meeting group from a small or medium-sized business. Between meetings, take a refreshing dip in the sunset-lit waves, enjoy coffee on the terrace and let the campfire bring out the best stories of the day.

GENERAL: Lopen Wilderness Villa comprises three buildings: the site’s main building, the eight-sided Kota Villa; the Mini Villa; and a small sleeping hut. The buildings have all modern comforts, and the lake is within sight of the grounds.

MAIN HALLS AND LOUNGE/MEETING SPACES: The 45-square-metre main hall in the Kota Villa can accommodate almost 20 guests around a long farmhouse table. The space has Wi-Fi and two 50-inch flat-screen TVs. The hall opens onto a large terrace and woodland garden. The sofa area in the Mini Villa seats 6–8 guests and has a 40-inch flat-screen TV.

ACCOMMODATION: Lopen Wilderness Villa has sleeping space for approximately 15–20 guests in total. The Kota Villa sleeps 10: its three bedrooms have eight beds, and the dining/meeting room has a sofa bed for two. The Mini Villa’s sofa and an extra mattress provide four additional sleeping places.

There is also a small sleeping hut in the grounds, with three separate sleeping alcoves and six beds in total.

There are enough duvets and pillows for all the beds.

KITCHENS: The Kota Villa kitchen is equipped with tableware for 20 guests, an electric stove and oven, a large fridge, a mini freezer in the entrance hall, a dishwasher, a microwave, a Moccamaster coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. The Mini Villa has a kitchenette with a fridge and coffee maker.

SAUNAS, SHOWERS AND TOILETS: The indoor sauna in the Kota Villa can accommodate 6–8 people at a time. The washroom has a shower, and the changing room opens directly onto the terrace. The toilet is between the living room and changing room.

The wood-fired outdoor sauna at the Mini Villa has room for around eight people. The Mini Villa also has a shower and toilet.

OUTDOOR AREAS AND HOT TUBS: A wilderness-style lean-to shelter with campfire spots is next to the terrace areas and easily accessible from both villas. The two wood-fired hot tubs can be reached via the terrace with clean feet, all year round. The terrace areas have comfortable seating for at least 20 guests.

FISHING, BOATING AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES: Syvälahti Bay, about 170 metres from Lopen Wilderness Villa, connects to the larger Lake Kaartjärvi in Loppi. Guests can rent a rowing boat and a three-person canoe. The varied hiking and mountain-biking trails of Poronpolku also pass very close to the villa.

PRICING: The price includes use of the Kota Villa at Lopen Wilderness Villa, including the indoor sauna. Optional extras include the separate Mini Villa and outdoor sauna, hot tubs, use of the campfire area and lean-to shelter, final cleaning, bed linen (made up or folded) and towels. We also offer boat and canoe rental, activities, catering and practical services, such as preparing the saunas and hot tubs before your arrival. All extras must be booked at least 14 days before arrival.
