We have collected clarifications and the most common instructions here to make it easier to use the Mökkirinki service and to help in unclear situations.
Although we try to keep the Mökkirinki service as easy to use as possible, as with all other services, we may also have something described unclearly. So if something essential is missing, please contact us via the contact form and we will improve the instructions as soon as possible.
1. Listings and bookings status
Listings
Your listing has been added successfully and is awaiting approval from the administrator.
Your listing has been approved and published by the administrator.
Booking
You have received a new booking request.
Booking request confirmed, payment is expected from the renter.
Booking marked as paid.
The renter has canceled the reservation.
2. Pricing of the listing
In the Mökkirinki service, you can set a daily, weekend (Fri-Sun), or weekly price.
You can also set seasonal prices with the same daily, weekend, or weekly pricing.
You can also set minimum booking days.
In addition, if you set the minimum rental period to one week (7 days), you can set the days from which to which booking is possible. For example, Saturday-Saturday.
3. Bookings management
You can manage your reservations under My reservations.
If new booking, click , this will open a new page where you can,
- Confirm the booking.
- Reject the booking.
- Add additional costs per reservation*.
- Add booking specific discounts*.
- Reply to the renter with a message.
- Create an invoice from the booking, e.g. to attach to an email.
- Mark the booking as paid.
*Additional cost or discount is always per booking.
If you already have a confirmed booking, click , this will open a new page where you can,
- Cancel the booking.
- Reply to the renter with a message.
- Create an invoice from the booking, e.g. to attach to an email.
- Mark the booking as paid.
4. Making own booking
To make your own reservation, go to My Listings.
From your listing’s menu, select the Reservations from the drop-down menu.
Select the Calendar tab and press .
This will open a new window where you can add a new manual reservation.
5. Making an invoice
Go to My Bookings.
Click to open the booking by pressing if new booking, or
if already confirmed booking.
Click Print button and save the invoice to a file or you can also send the invoice to a printer.
6. Extra services
Migration service
We help you transfer information about your existing property from any other service to the Mökkirinki service, e.g. Nettimökki, Lomarengas, Booking.com or other service.

Translation service
We translate your accommodation’s description into Finnish and German.
Add gallery images
By default, you can add 8 images to each accommodation.
Improve the presentation of your accommodation by adding gallery images. By purchasing more gallery images, you can add 12 additional images to your property.
Featured listing
By placing your accommodation as Featured, you get the best possible visibility for your accommodation. This will add your accommodation to the top of the list in search results. The featured accommodation is always valid for one month (1 month) from the time of purchase.

Bookings
Your booking request is being reviewed by the landlord.
The landlord has confirmed the reservation request.
The landlord has marked the booking as paid.
The landlord has rejected the booking request.
The landlord has canceled the reservation.
2. Making bookings
Find suitable accommodation using either,
The search function on the homepage or
By selecting either Region or Holiday Resorts from the top menu.
This option will list all available accommodations by Region or Holiday Resorts.
When you find a suitable accommodation, click on the property to open it and make a booking request.
3. Booking management
Go to My Listings.
Check listing details using button.
