GENERAL INFORMATION: Aulangon Rantapiilo is an accommodation complex situated right by the shore of Lake Aulangonjärvi in ​​the Aulangon Rauha area of ​​Hämeenlinna. It comprises a mini-villa decorated in a wilderness style and an additional sleeping cabin available for rent (note: the cabin is not available between December 1 and April 15). The mini-villa is best suited for 2 adults and 2 children but can accommodate 4–5 adults with the use of extra beds. LIVING/MEETING AREAS: The mini-villa’s open-plan living area and kitchen feature a table set approximately 2.5 meters long, providing space for 8 people to dine and socialize. The living area also includes a sofa bed. A 50-inch flat-screen TV serves as both a television and a meeting display.

ACCOMMODATION: Rantapiilo offers sleeping arrangements for up to 8 guests across two small buildings. The mini-villa’s bedroom contains a double bed and an overhead bunk, while the living area has a convertible double sofa bed. An additional accommodation cabin—available for rent during the warmer months—is equipped with two bunk beds and one single bed. Duvets and pillows are provided to match the number of beds.

KITCHEN: The cabin kitchen is equipped with tableware for 10 guests, a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Moccamaster coffee maker, kettle, and toaster.

SAUNAS, SHOWER, AND WC: The toilet, sauna, and shower area are located just off the entrance hall. The electric sauna accommodates two bathers.

The small wood-burning sauna located on the terrace next to the hot tub accommodates up to five people. It offers a view of Lake Aulanko and direct access to the adjacent hot tub, ensuring a comfortable and convenient sauna experience all year round. OUTDOOR AREAS AND HOT TUB: The grounds feature a wood-fired hot tub for six people and an outdoor fire pit right by the corner of the terrace. There is parking space for 2–3 cars at Rantapiilo.

FISHING, BOATING, AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES: Rantapiilo is located less than 20 meters from the shore of Lake Aulanko, making it easy to head out onto the lake for fishing, boating, or canoeing—or ice fishing in winter. The Sibelius Forest outdoor trail is just a few hundred meters from the villa.

PRICING: The price for Rantapiilo includes the use of the “Mini-Villa.” Additional services available for order include the use of the guest cabin, hot tub, outdoor sauna, and fire pit, as well as final cleaning, bed linen (either made-up beds or stacked sets), and towels. We also offer boat and canoe rentals, activity services, catering, and other services—such as preparing the hot tub before guests arrive. All additional services must be ordered no later than 14 days prior to arrival.
