Ostrobothnia

Ostrobothnia is located on the coast of the Bothnian Sea and the Kvarken in the southwestern part of the historical province of Ostrobothnia. The neighboring counties are Central Ostrobothnia to the north, South Ostrobothnia to the east, and Satakunta to the south. Ostrobothnia, South Ostrobothnia, and Central Ostrobothnia are collectively known as the Ostrobothnia Regions. However, in Finnish, the term "Ostrobothnia" generally refers to Southern Ostrobothnia, which often also includes the coastal region of Ostrobothnia and Central Ostrobothnia.
